Uses
This combination medication helps to relieve intestinal discomfort due to retention of gas caused by too much acid, gall bladder trouble, irritable colon, intestinal trouble, abdominal surgery, antibiotics or overuse of laxatives. Notes
- This safety and efficacy of this medication has not been established in children.
Storage
- Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.
- Do not store in the bathroom.
How
To Use - The usual dosage is two or three tablets 3 times daily, with or without meals.
Side
Effects - There may be some heartburn or intestinal cramping that should diminish in a few days.
- If these symptoms persist, call your doctor.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- The effect of this medication on a developing fetus is unknown.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before taking this medication.
- It is unknown if this medication appears in breast milk.
- Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding before taking this medication.
Missed
Dose - If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
Drug
Interactions - Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
- This medication should not be taken within 1 hour of receiving an injection of succinylcholine.
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
