Side Effects
Works pretty good - I have used Flonase ever since it came on the market and am wondering if the long term use could cause my symptoms. 2 years ago I noticed an abnormal odor when I breath in - at first it was sporadic - but is almost always now - the abnormal odor can change depending on surrounding odors i.e., food cooking. Even the smell of bread baking can bring on the bad odor - affects eating - seems to be worse when sinus pressure is active. Had sinus scan, MRI, EKG - nothing significant - Neurologist suggested I try epilepsy medication (possible nerve damage). I could not tolerate it.
