Side Effects
none really. I am odd, and lost weight while taking birth control pill in my 20's. On this I was worried about weight gain, but lost 4 lbs without trying. And it keeps the baby in, yay. : ) PLEASE note: studies show that the vaginal gel is safer than the pill, the tiny mess (not really a big deal at all) is worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Additional Thoughts
The vaginal suppository is taking once a day in the morning (8%). It is not as messy as you would think. It is also natural progesterone, derived from plants. I am very happy with it. Take it if doc reccomends it, and if he doesn't, and you have had a miscarriage, ask for your progesterone levels to be checked (mine were too low at 7.3). If he says no, switch docs. : )
