Time Taken: 8 days

Reason: Given to my 3 yo son for seasonal allergies as recommended by his PCP Date: 26 May 2010
Side Effects
Abdominal sounds, severe gas and diarrhea. I took a while to figure out why his stomach was upset otherwise I would have taken him off the Claritin immediately. The label on the package did no mention diarrhea as a side effect.

Additional Thoughts
Helped with allergies but not worth side effects

Side Effects
Starting taking Claritin and within 2 days I was having extreme dizziness, blurry eyes and dry mouth. Also it made me feel depressed and lost all energy. I researched side effects and found this was very common. My doctor recommended taking Claritin but never warned me of it's risks.

Additional Thoughts
Think wisely before randomly taking Claritin..if your doctor prescribes it then sit down and have a talk about possible side effects and pro's or con's of taking it.
