Uses
This medication is an ear wax removal aid. It is used to soften, loosen and remove wax from the ear.
Notes
  • If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, consult your doctor.

Storage
  • Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light as directed.

How To Use
  • HOW TO USE THIS MEDICATION: For best results, use this medication as directed.
  • Apply drops to the ear(s) as follows: Wash hands first.
  • Lie on your side or tilt the affected ear up.
  • Place dropper directly over the ear and administer the prescribed amount of medication.
  • Do not touch the dropper to the inside of the ear.
  • Keep the head tilted for several minutes then insert a soft cotton plug loosely into the ear.
  • After 15-30 minutes, remove the plug and flush the ear with warm water using an ear syringe as directed.
  • Do not use this medication for longer than directed or use more than recommended.

Side Effects
  • This medication may temporarily burn your ear for a minute or two when first applied.
  • If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor.
  • Notify your doctor immediately if you develop a skin rash, itching or pain in or around the ears or if you experience dizziness or hearing trouble while using this medication.
  • If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • Tell your doctor if you have any illnesses or allergies.
  • This medication should be used with caution during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
  • Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

Missed Dose
  • If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
  • Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

Drug Interactions
  • Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take especially any ear medications.
  • Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
