yes

Drinking the sherbath (shake) made out of dates or eating date fruits (kajoor) helps to control diabetes. The sweetness of dates is harmless to diabetic patients.

Parvathy. (Keerthu)
if he has sugar also means he should not, but better eat only max.20. or sometimes sugar problems will be there.

Yes. There is no number, they can eat an infinite amount as long as they manage to keep their blood sugar in balance.

Yes. He needs to consult with his doctor to find out how many grams of carbohydrates he is allowed to eat each day, and figure out how many grams are in the dates. If he is allowed to eat 50 grams, and each date contains 10 grams, then he is allowed to eat 5 dates, for instance. These numbers are just examples, he will have to find the real numbers from his doctor.

Yes. Diabetics can eat dates. In fact doctors advice them to replace white sugar with PALM SUGAR, DATES and HONEY, if they want to have something sweet. It is better to have limited amount of these sweet items. The diabetic patient can consum about 2 or 3 fruits (Dates) per day.

The date is a food of high nutritional value. It provides natural sugar in the form of glucose and fructose. This sugar is ready for immediate absorption and is, therefore, infinitely superior to cane sugar. It is usually taken raw or with milk, which makes it highly nutritious in most respects.

Dates and other foods with high sugar concentrations are very bad choices for any diabetic. They should be avoided.

Instead, choose vegetables such as brocolli, and salad greens, and fruits like strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries.

Fruits should only be eaten in small quantities. Dates and figs are too high in carbohydrates and are NOT a smart choice.
